Sr. Catherine Murray, Religious Sister of Mercy (RSM), known affectionately as Ellie Murray of Tattygare, died on 6th November 2022 at Avila Nursing Home, Bessbrook, Newry. Previously she lived at the Mercy House, Queen’s Street, Warrenpoint. Her funeral Mass took place in St. Tierney’s Church on 9th November and burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
Joe McClave, Mountview Drive, Lisnaskea & formerly Derrygellia, Roslea died on 3rd November 2022. His funeral Mass took place on 7th November in St. Tierney’s Church followed by burial in the adjoining Graveyard.
